Giggles #97

"Dust if you must.....
Old age will come, and it's not kind....
And when you go....
And go you must......
You yourself, will make me more dust!"

Wrinkles

In 1950, 8 out of every 100 people were over 60.
By 2050, 22 out of every 100 people will be over 60.

The majority of older persons are women.

Older women are more likely to be widowed, to live alone and in poverty.

60 is the new 40. In the last century, the average U.S. lifespan has grown by 30 years. In 1900, the typical American lived to age 47; today it is age 78. Many Americans over 60 feel approximately two decades younger than their chronological age.

The rapid growth of technology and the increasing size of the aging population are happening at the same time.

Did you ever stop to think about the influence that older adults have in many areas? Many adults rely on the advice and counsel of their older friends and relatives when making major purchases and life decisions.

Grey power is here!

"Maybe if you had bet your real age, we'd be rich by now!"
