Animal Wednesday

When I first started learning to paint, I got a book out of the Library and copied things from it. This was one of the pages from that book.

I found it the other day and thought ' perfect for AW'

'Baa, Woof, Quack, Moo, Cluck, Grunt, Miaow.'

OR

'Happy Animal Wednesday!'

Animal Wednesday

Don't ask me what this is all about. I call it 'abstract animal thingies'! You know me, always dabbling and having fun!

Happy Animal Wednesday Mim and everyone. Mim is coming to London on a business trip and we hope to meet on Saturday 26th...if it isn't cancelled. I can't wait!

Animal Wednesday and Giggles #49

"Why do you always get a signal?"

Happy Animal Wednesday from someone who absolutely adores giraffes. I have seen them in their natural habitat in the wilds of Africa. They are stately, sedate, elegant herbivores.

So, Happy Giraffe Wednesday!

Animal Wednesday

I painted this while I was teaching out in Kuwait. I like camels. They are such slow and cumbersome creatures, placid, gentle, and reassuringly big. They seem to lumber through life without a care in the world.
And I think they are even good-looking.
Happy Animal Wednesday Mim.

Animal Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and my friend, Mim, has drawn a lovely parrot and started herself on a new project doing an animal a week.
"Oh", I thought. "I'd like to join in, as I like a challenge and hate being left out of anything!"(in other words, I'm a real nosy parker!).
I asked her and she said, "Sure." Thanx Mim.

So, here is my first one, the 'green croc'....done after my holiday in Oz ( I loved the Abo art).Happy Animal Wednesday.
